Today, I'm going to introduce five kinds of pigs to you.

第一種就係「剝光豬」。

The first type is called "stripped bare pig".

「剝光豬」即係畀人，(唔係畀人)，係「除晒啲衫」。

"mok1 gwong1 zyu1" zik1 hai6 bei2 jan4, (m4 hai6 bei2 jan4), hai6 "ceoi4 saai3 di1 saam1"

"Stripped bare pig" refers to giving someone, (sorry I don't mean giving someone), it means "taking off their clothes".

但係呢一種「剝光豬」可能喺我哋平時生活入便冇乜機會用到。

daan6 hai6 ni1 jat1 zung2 "mok1 gwong1 zyu1" ho2 nang4 hai2 ngo5 dei6 ping4 si4 saang1 wut6 jap6 bin6, mou5 mat1 gei1 wui6 jung6 dou3

However, this kind of "stripped bare pig" probably isn't something we would normally use in our daily lives.

反而有另一個解釋就係捉棋嘅時候，你食晒人哋啲棋，噉樣你就係叫做「剝咗佢光豬」喇。

However, there is another interpretation where, if you capture all of someone's pieces when playing chess, you are said to have "stripped them bare"

The second type of pig is "cane-braised pork".

嗱，千祈唔好誤會，「藤條炆豬肉」唔係一道餸嚟嘅。

Actually, what your mother means is that she is going to take a rattan handle and beat you with it tonight.

第三隻豬同第一隻豬有啲相似。

The third "pig" is somewhat similar to the first one.

個名呀好聽，但係其實冇咩人鍾意嘅。

The name sounds nice, but actually, not many people like it.

Don't misunderstand, "Salted Pork Knuckle" is not the German dish of the same name.

For Cantonese people, "Salted Pork Knuckle" refers to "Pervy Hands".

The villagers were busy packing their belongings, leading their cattle, and herding their sheep, so the scene was chaotic.

The old man asked, "What's happening?"

村民只係匆匆噉答佢：「有年獸嚟緊呀！」就走咗嘞。

The villagers hurriedly replied, "The Nian monster is coming!" and then left.

In the middle of the night, the Nian beast broke into the village!

The Nian beast was terrified! It was so scared that it cried and dared not move forward.

原來「年」最怕就係紅色、火光同埋炸響。

It turned out that the Nian beast was most afraid of the colour red, firelight, and the sound of firecrackers.
